You will be guaranteed to receive the best quality service in a fast and efficient manner. I always ensure that I treat any client project as if it was my own, and I do so by keeping clients in the loop throughout the entire time frame with frequent work-in-progress updates.
This gives the client a clear visual of the direction of the work and allows them to suggest edits or changes before the project is completed. My goal is to make your experience working with me as easy and stress-free as possible. I hope you’re looking forward to collaborating, because I sure am!

About Me
MY NAME IS Kyle Petchock
I’m a freelance illustrator living in the general Baltimore, Maryland area. I have worked on a wide variety of different projects over the last five years, including a surprise opportunity to become a freelance colorist for the Marvel’s licensing art department, in addition to comic projects that include a fantasy genre comic titled “Skylin”, published by Source Point Press, and other indie titles such as “Villains Seeking Hero”, a supervillain parody drama, and “Project Naosis”, a futuristic graphic novel that deals with the clash between superheroes and an extremist uprising. I’m currently doing work for several gaming companies which include Atomic Mass Gaming, Renegade Game Studios, and Fantasy Flight Games.
I started this freelance journey just over five years ago. However, this didn't happen overnight. Breaking into the art world is no easy feat. It requires years of practice, patience, and most importantly, Perseverance to push through challenges. Always believe in yourself, because if you do, you'll take the inspired action required to move you one step closer toward your goal, even if they're baby steps (yes, those count too).
My personal mantra is 'Keep Persevering,' which also stands for my initials (KP). More importantly, I use this motto to let aspiring artists know that even a normal guy who spent years battling anxiety behind closed doors and no formal art school education in comic illustration, can make it. There were plenty of external obstacles in my way early on in my art journey, but the most challenging struggle was wrestling with my own negative internal thoughts that sabotaged me from really pursing my dream as a comic artist much earlier in life. So this has a special meaning behind it, in that if you keep going and pursue your dream with everything you have, in the face of rejection, disappointments, and setbacks, eventually you'll be rewarded. That's when you prove to life just how bad you want it, and in doing so you pass the test.
